"Our Brands are our identity.  The messages Ideas On Hold puts together monthly helps us continue to develop our identity and strengthen our relationships with our business partners.  The messages let our customers know we have a focus on quality and a commitment to value.  Ideas On Hold makes it so easy.  Besides educating our customers about new products, Ideas On Hold also gives our supplier business partners ideas on how they can better partner with us. It helps us build our business.  Some companies play a radio station to callers on hold, but that doesn't personalize it like Ideas On Hold does.  PFG is a diverse organization, but Ideas On Hold messages help us project the corporate mission and vision -- it gives us great continuity."

"You people have been great.  I appreciate your assistance.  So, having said all that mushy stuff, why do I like working with I.O.H.?:

1)  Customer service.  Ease in preparation of material.
2)  Customer service.  One person to one person communication.
3)  Customer service.  Time efficiency.  You remind me, I send it to you, you respond back and two days later, I have my on hold recording.
4)  Customer service.  Selection of choices.  Not too overwhelming.  Makes it very simple for a brainless guy like me.
5)  Customer service.  I earn points with UniPro.

Are you beginning to see a trend?  It's all about the customer.  We should all take lessons.

And finally, price.  Please notice that price is the last concern.  That's not an invitation to increase it.  It's merely a statement that service does win out ultimately.  You're competitively priced for the services that you provide." -- this from Mark O'Driscoll, Bake Mark in Nevada.

There are many attributes to love about "Ideas On Hold"

One is their "can-do" attitude. for instance, I  requested that a recording be produced for our food shows...one that would market our products at the show....you know kinda like the ones you hear at the grocery store...I asked them if they had done this before.   They said "no.....but no problem"...  In one week I had a professionally produced recording that would rival any grocery store across the country..........now that's service.

It's always a win, win, situation....If I owned a company it would be staffed only with people like the ones at "Ideas On Hold"

Besides I think "Ideas On Hold" loves working with customers that look like Paul McCartney....have the coolness George Clooney, are as brave as Mel Gibson...as rugged as Bruce Willis, as sexy as Richard Geer, and as charming as Cary Grant....and as exciting as Tom Cruise..." all this from the winner of the Progressive Group Alliance National Marketing Award of Excellence for 2003, Scott Suddath, Quality PFG, Arkansas.

"We moved into our "new" warehouse in February of 2002, which used to be occupied by Empire Paper (I have been told that brings back some memories!). During the process of getting the phones and all other utilities set up, I had noticed the small black box with a tape in it. I was aware that this was music for the phone system but never took the tape out of the box. I played with the buttons on the box, heard the recording and thought it would be nice to have a tape like this for our phones. I even thought to put a regular tape in the box of classical music, but never gave it much thought after that.

In October of 2003, I was in the phone system program and noticed the hold music was "off". I turned it on and put one of the lines on hold and heard the recording. WOW!  I had to get something to play for our customers on hold. I went out to the box and pulled the tape, fully intending to try a normal music tape. It was then that I noticed the writing on the tape and a phone number – toll free to boot!

The tape had been dated 1997, so I was not too confident anyone would answer the phone. But they did, and I now have my own personalized company tape on its way.

It is always unfortunate that we have to put customers on hold, but I am feeling better already knowing that they will be listening to something other than "beep-beep" every ten seconds. Who knows, they might even ask to be put back on hold!"  -- from Eric Egan, Service Box Group, Georgia.

"We've just recently started using Ideas On Hold, and we are already getting positive feedback from our customers, our suppliers and our sales staff.  Our customers question us about the products and our sales consultants call in just to be put on hold to listen to our new Ideas On Hold promotions.  We recently started offering gift certificates for Ranger City Distributors, and Ideas On Hold is a great way to make our customers aware that gift certificates are now available.  Also, with the holidays coming, we will be able to promote certain specialty items.

We have recently introduced a Marketing Plan for 2004 and have made Ideas On Hold part of the packages offered to our suppliers.  Our suppliers are excited about using Ideas On Hold to make our customers more aware of the products they offer.

It's been fun listening to our marketing team "argue" over what products should be featured and why.  We feel that Ideas On Hold has given Ranger City Distributors a more professional image and we look forward to creating new ideas for 2004.

The Ideas On Hold team is extremely pleasant to work with and are always accommodating.  We look forward to a long business relationship."  -- That's from our friend Carla Wotruba at Ranger City Distributors in Wisconsin.
